Mongoose Mayhem

We lost one of our trees that we had installed in the fall. Thought it would be the perfect time of year to do that sort of thing. I guess the windy weather around here was a little too much for such a large evergreen to keep up with, water-wise. Luckily it was guaranteed so they brought a new one out last month.

Crossing our fingers that we can keep the new one alive through the hot Texas summer!!!

It was a school day and they both worked on some stuff but then went to read. I thought they'd been quiet for awhile and decided to see what they were doing. They slept for two hours! I left them alone since I figured they needed it to both crash like that at 10am.

I put Mike in charge one evening :)

They stayed up late on computers, XBox, and Nintendo DS handhelds....Actually many didn't go to sleep. Jimmy fell asleep at 7am after breakfast burritos.

Libby was a bit annoyed that he stole her favorite spot on the recliner - so she compromised and slept on Jimmy instead LOL

Jimmy chose to have a sleepover for his birthday celebration. We planned for friends (girl &boy) to swim before having spaghetti and cake...mother nature had other plans. It poured and poured and we even had a tornado watch.
